AFCON U23: Rohr visit Dream Team VII in Egypt, departs Sunday

Nigeria's Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has made a sensational visit to the camp of Nigeria's Dream Team VII in Ismaila, Egypt, BSNSports.com.ng can reveal.

Last week, BSN reports that the Franco-German tactician revealed that he will be on hand to offer his help to the team technical crew headed by coach Imama Amapakabo.

Rohr arrived on Saturday night and was part of the team's training on Sunday, he visited the to boost the morale and encouraged the players ahead of the U23 African Cup of Nations and promised them that some of them will be joining the senior side soon.

“I’m here for a solidarity visit.”

“I believe some of you will join me at Super Eagles some day”. He told NFF media.

“This team is full of potentials and I will be here to  watch your first game against Cote d‘Ivore on Saturday.” 

“I hope you will give all your best to make sure the team achieve its aim in this  AFCON U23 tournament.”

“I will be leaving on Sunday because the Super Eagles are also preparing for the AFCON qualifiers,' Rohr said.

The Olympic Eagles will kick off their title defence on Saturday 9th of November at the As-Salam stadium.
