UCL: "Its An Important Goal Of My Career" - Super Eagles Star

Nigeria's Super Eagles and FC Porto of Portugal defender, Zaidu Sanusi , has described the goal he scored in the UEFA champions league against former champions Olympique Marseille of France as an important goal of his career, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Sanusi moved to the Portuguese giant this summer and has since become regular player with the team with his amazing performance.
Porto played away to Marseille at Stade De Velodrome on Wednesday night in the match day 4 of the Uefa Champions League and came out victorious.
Despite host dominating the game, it was Nigeria international that broke the deadlock in the 39th minute of the game before Sergio Oliviera 72nd minute penalty sealed the game.
He reacted after the game and congratulated the team for the 3 points secured.
"We got 3 points and congratulations to the whole team, it is a very important goal in my career, my first in the champions league," he said.
The win take Porto to second place on the table with 7 points in 4 matches.
Sanusi Zaidu has tied down a starting
-eleven shirt in the Super Eagles following his brilliant performance since his first match against Algeria in the international friendly game in October, 2020. He has played a total of four matches for Super Eagles.
