Club Brugge suffered a setback in their bid to qualify for the last sixteen following a heavy 3-0 defeat to Borussia Dortmund at Jan Breydel Stadion, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis started and was in action for 85 minutes while his teammate David Okereke watched proceedings from the bench.
Eden Hazard opened the scores for the Yellow and Black after just 14 minutes, before Eerlign Haaland's brace ensured they picked their first win of the season.
