Following his heroic performance for Club Brugge against former champion Real Madrid, Nigeria's Super Eagles attacker Dennis Bonaventure Emmanuel has been nominated for the UEFA champions league player of the match day 2.

Dennis fires brace at Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night and silent the roaring crowd to the admiration of the football lovers all over the world.

He was nominated alongside Barcelona and Uruguay international Luiz Suarez who also netted brace against Inter Milan on Wednesday at Camp Nou.

Also in contention are Bayern Munich Serge Gnabry who scored 4 goals against Tottenham Hotspur and Moroccan international and Borussia Dortmund star Hakimi who shoot down Slavia Prague twice.

The winner to be announced before the end of the week.
