UEFA Bans Peter Olayinka's Teammate For 10 Games Amidst Racist Behaviour By Admin Slavia Prague defender Ondrej Kudela has been suspended for ten games by UEFA for racially abusing Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara, who has also received a three-game ban for sparking a melee in the tunnel post-match, BSNSports.com.ng reports. In a heated Europa League clash at Ibrox last month, tempers reached boiling point near the end of the game as Kudela approached Kamara before covering his mouth to whisper something into his ear. despite receiving a provisional one-game ban from UEFA, but a statement from the governing body has confirmed his guilt, issuing a ten-game ban in the process. The ban does include the first leg of Slavia Prague's quarter-final tie with Arsenal last Thursday a clash Kudela was already missing out on after the club confirmed he wouldn't travel with the squad due to illness and rules him out of the return leg as well as a further eight games. The ban also extends to any UEFA endorsed competition, meaning Kudela is now pending an appeal ruled out of this summer's European Championship, where he was expected to line up for the Czech Republic. Despite UEFA agreeing with Kamara's claim that he was the subject of racial abuse, he too has been slapped with a suspension after being found of guilty of assaulting Kudela in the tunnel after the final whistle. Teammate Kemar Roofe has also been banned for four games after his challenge caused Ondrej Kolar to suffer a fractured skull, while Rangers have also been fined £9,000 for failing to control their players.
