Uefa Champions League: Ndubuisi Egbo Optimistic of Victory Over In-form FK Crvena Zvezda

Klubi Futbollit Tirana manager, Ndubuisi Egbo is optimistic that his team will defeat the Serbian side, FK Crvena Zvezda in their Second Round of the Uefa Champions League Qualification tie at the Arena Kombetare, holding later today, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The former Super Eagles of Nigeria goalkeeper led the team to emerge Albanian league champions last season and becomes the first African coach to win a Uefa Champions League in their 2-0 victory against Dinamo Tbilisi, drawing confidence from this, he believed the Albanian league winners can triumph over Crvena at 7:00 pm tonight.
In an exclusive interview with www.bsnsports.com.ng Egbo insisted that they will qualify for the next round of the tournament if the team approach the game with the chosen strategy.
"I am confident that if we can play according to our game strategy and tactical approach that we chose to use, that God will crown our effort with a good result." He told BSN Sports.
Reacting to his feat as the first African coach to win a Uefa champions league game, he said he felt elated pouring encomiums on the players for making the dream come true.
"I feel elated and a kind of an accomplishment for this victory. About been first African to do it, i am not the individual self-seeking objective type, i am a team player, i prefer for my team to achieve the set objective and when that is done, each person's individual objective will be achieved too."
FK Crvena Zvezda on August 18th humiliated Europa FC 5-0 to qualify for the second round of the tournament. The Serbian club have won all their last seven matches with their last loss match against TSC Backra Topola on June 14th in the Serbian Super Liga.
FK Tirana ended the 2019/20 Albanian League as champions with 70 points from 36 matches, winning the title for the 25th time. Tirana have won three, drew two and lost two in their last seven matches.
