Wilfred Ndidi scored his first Leicester City goal of the season as the Foxes beats Legia Warszawa 3-1 to move top of tricky Group C, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Nigerian who last scored for Leicester in January against Chelsea scored the 3rd goal of the encounter after he rose highest to head home James Maddison’s corner.
Meanwhile, Ademola Lookman got his first assist for Leicester after setting up James Maddison for his side’s second goal.
The win saw Leicester move from bottom to top in Group C standing to eight points, one point ahead Spartak Moscow and Napoli, who are both on seven points.
Having recently decided to represent Canada, Ike Ugbo found the back of the net as KRC Genk salvaged a point against
Dinamo Zagreb.
The draw puts the Belgian side within the reach of the evening's opponent (2 points) who is their direct rival for the second round ticket.
