Umar’s Almeria beat Ibiza to tighten grip on promotion

Nigerian striker, Sadiq Umar was missing in action as Almeria beat Ibiza in the Spanish second division on Sunday, November 14, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Umar, who is the leading scorer for the Spanish side missed out on the tie, the time he will miss a game all season. Almeria missed the lanky forward who has contributed 12 goals ( 7 goals and 5) in 15 games this season. Dyego Sousa was the hero of the day after he scored the only goal for Almeria. The win increased Almeria’s points tally to 37 in 16 matches. They are six points ahead of Eibar and nine points ahead of third-place Real Valladolid.
