Unity Preseason Tournament Finalists Nasarawa, Plateau United Take Delivery Of Cone Jerseys By Our Reporter The two finalists of the maiden edition of the Unity Preseason Tournament holding in Abuja, Nasarawa United and Plateau United on Saturday took delivery of complete sets of jerseys courtesy of leading Sports Wear company CONE. The jerseys were in fulfillment of the partnership between the company and the organizers of the tournament. The complete set of jerseys were received by the Coordinator of the tournament, Patrick Ngwaogu and was immediately dispatched to the teams at their hotels. Receiving the jerseys from the organizers, the Technical Adviser of Nasarawa United, Bala Nkiyu expressed appreciation to the organizers and the kit company for the gesture, and advised them not to relent in their efforts to make the tournament one of the best in country. Also speaking in the same vein, the Technical Adviser of Plateau United, Fedelis Ilechukwu was full of surprises that such a gesture was made realistic at this first edition. He implored other corporate organizations to emulate the Cone Sports, by supporting the organizers of the tournament in future for the further development of the game in the country. Reacting, the Coordinator of the tournament Patrick Ngwaogu thanked the Chief Executive Officer of Cone Sports for keeping to all his promises before the commencement of the tournament. According to Ngwaogu, "the CEO of Cone Sports promised to provide us with the match balls, which he did. The jerseys he promised to the finalists, he has delivered it. Same to the ones to the organizers, he has done that also. He is a man of honor, and we sincerely thank him". "At the final, Plateau United will wear a grey colour jersey with white pants, while Nasarawa United will wear a red top with black pants ". Ngwaogu who was the immediate past Sporting Director of Abia Warriors used the opportunity to thank others that supported the tournament. He mentioned the Cool/Nigeria Info /Wazobia FM who will take the final match live, Mr Emmanuel Atah who donated the individual awards, Mavlon Consults who provided the medical supports, ECN cares who provided media supports and Zoomax sports. He did not forget support of the FCT Football Association for all the technical support and providing enabling environment for all the participating teams.
