By Omolagba Oluwayemi
Super Eagles and Genk goal poacher, Paul Onuachu was not listed in Genk's 3-4 loss to Oostende in their match day 2 fixture of the 2021/22 Belgium Jupiler League season, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
There was no official explanation for his absence but the speculations surrounding his move away from Belgium is suspected to have been the reason for his omission.
Onuachu has come under fire in recent weeks for his performance in Genk's first two season opener one of which he was replaced by fellow countryman, Cyriel Dessers.
With clubs across Europe vying for his signature, Genk has maintained they will only sell for the right price and thus has led many of his admirers to cool down their interest in him.
Onuachu was replaced by Cyriel Dessers in the attacking role of Genk as they lost 4-3 and the Nigeria could only record and assist to his name despite playing for the entire duration.
Genk have now played three games so far this season and has recorded zero victories.
