UPDATE: Rohr not axe as coach of the Super Eagles, says NFF insider

BSNSports.com.ng understands that speculation in the local media claiming that Gernot Rohr has been relieved of his duties as Super Eagles coach is wide of the mark. The Franco-German football tactician has come under intense scrutiny from the media and fans for the national team's unconvincing performances during the group stage of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. The Super Eagles could only pick up four points from a maximum nine at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos and two of their away victories came at neutral venue.
