Uzoho records clean sheet on Omonia debut

It was a sweet debut for Nigeria's Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho who is presently on loan to the Cyprus league.

Uzoho was loaned Omonia Nicosia by Spanish La Liga side Deportivo La Coruna during last winter transfer.

The lanky goaltender who joined the club immediately after 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt commenced the preseason training with the club.

He thrown into action on Saturday evening as Omonia traveled to newly promoted Doxa Katokopia in the match day one of the league.

Uzoho was able to keep a clean sheet despite pressure from the home team and ensured Omonia secured a 2-0 win and maximum 3 points.
