Uzoho Returns To Action For Apoel FC

After spending few months in the treatment room, Nigeria's Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has finally returned to action, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The former Deportivo La Coruna goaltender sustained an injury in the international friendly match involving Nigeria's Super Eagles and Selecao of Brazil in November 2019 in Singapore.
The lanky goalkeeper resumed training few months back after completing his rehabilitation but was yet to make a competitive game .
His Cypriot league side Apoel FC was in action on Wednesday in the cup game against Paeek and it was a perfect match for Uzoho to stage a comeback.
Uzoho was in goal for the whole duration of the game as Apoel defeated Paeek 4-0.
The player was excited after the match and expressed his excitement via its social media handle.
" After 380 days here I’m back stronger
IN CHRIST ALONE", he wrote.
It remains to be seen if Uzoho will be available for the 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone in November.
