As this season almost comes to an end,2018 Season in Nigeria Football spectators witnesses unwanted Challenges across the leagues. As we all know, football in Nigeria are guided by the statutes of FIFA,NFF and three aforementioned leagues Statutes, this make it necessary for every board to form an electoral Committee to organized an election into the above boards hen never their tenure expired. Previously Nigeria National League, Nigeria Nation wide league and Women Football League are getting their board members through elections. But nowadays, CHIEF CHIDI OKENWA was appointed as NNL Independent Chairman, AISHA FOLADE was appointed as Independent Chairperson of WFL While Muhammed Alkali the FA Chairman of Nassarawa State was appointed as NNWL Independent Chairman. Why the NFF chooses to appoint the above 3 Boards as against the wishes of the affected Clubs? If the NFF Board uses election to elect its President and other Board Members why they choose to select the board of Nigeria National League, Women Football League and Nigeria Nation wide League? Please read below (NLO Statues) ARTICLE 11:- LEAGUE BOARD 1. There shall be established for the NNWL a governing board (hereafter referred as the Board). It shall consist of:- a. By 12am today the tenure of Alkali,Okenwa and Folade will be no more, then what is going to happen as NFF is yet to have a meeting? Let's allows the Club owners to chose their board as it is before. The time of dictating the affairs of others has gone. Alkali is the Nassarawa State Football Association, he doesn't have any club in NLO why the NFF chooses to contraven the above NLO Article? The tenure of ALHAJI AHMAD MU'AZU KAWU will not be forgotten in the minds of NLO Clubs owners in Nigeria were the Teams that will go for Play off will be sponsored 100%, Transport and Accommodation included,as against now, were the 100 Million Naira Pipul TV and undisclosed Starling Bank Sponsorship still need explanation.
