  Volleyball: Ministry of Sports Approves Super Cup By Niyi Busari The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports has approved the Super Cup Top 8 National Volleyball Championship for male and female. The 2020 Top 8 National Volleyball Championship for male and female is scheduled to hold from 19th to 29th November, 2020 at the University of Ilorin. According to a memo signed by Samuel Aduda, Acting Director Federal Elite Athletes Development (FEAD), the minister urged the federation to observe COVID-19 sports codes and protocols. It read, "I am directed to convey to you the Honourable Minister approval for the Federation to organise the 2020 Top 8 National Volleyball Championship. "You are to ensure strict complaince with all COVID-19 sports codes and protocols during the Championship". The President of Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Engineer Musa Nimrod commended the minister for giving the approval of the Championship. Nimrod advised the League Management Committee to follow laid down rules. He said, "I must commend the minister for giving express approval of the Top 8 in Ilorin. This minister has shown his love and passion for sports in the country. "I urge the League Management Committee to follow all laid down rules of the COVID-19 protocols laid down by the ministry of Sports"
