VOLLEYBALL: Nigeria to Host U18 African Championship.

It's now official that Nigeria will host the 2020 Girls U18 African Nations Championship which begins on the 7th of February,2021 in the capital city,Abuja BSNSports.com.ng reports.

After series of development in the country's Volleyball sector, Nigeria was nominated by the Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB).

The corona Virus situation resulted in the postponement of the Under 18 Championship, including the Continental 2020 Age Group Competitions.

The Confederation of African football in its words said: "FIVB has extended the deadline for continental qualifiers for the 2021 FIVB Volleyball Age Group World Championships to 28 February 2021".

The fixtures for the CAVB Age Group competition are Schedule to hold as follows:

Women U20 Uganda: Kampala(venue) 4th to 13th December 2020

Girls U18 Nigeria, Abuja(venue) 29rh January to 7th February 2021

Boys U19 Tunisia, Tunis(venue) 1st to 6th of February 2021

Men U21 Egypt, Cairo(venue) 18th to 26th February 2021
