  Volleyball: Nigeria U19 Boys Crush Karu United By Editor Nigeria U19 Boys Volleyball team crush Karu United 3-0 (25-22, 25-23, 25-19) in a friendly game ahead of the U19 African Nations Volleyball Championship on Sunday. The hungry U19 boys did not take any chance during the friendly game as they dispatch Karu United within 30 minutes of play. The head coach of Nigeria U19 Boys, Sabi Mohammed told journalists after the game that his players have shown more determination. The former Niger Brass gaffer urged volleyball stakeholders in the country to rally round and pray for the team to succeed. He said, "The game against Karu United is a litmus test ahead of the Nations Championship. If you look at Karu United, they have some former U19 players and some established players too but despite their threat, we still overcame them. "I am appealing to volleyball stakeholders within and outside the country to pray for the success of the team. The boys are on the verge of putting the name of the country on the map once against and it is with your support we can do it". Meanwhile, the Nigeria U18 Girls lost Abuja selected volleyball team 3-2 (20-25, 25-14, 23-25, 25-22,12-15) on Sunday.
