Volleyball Premier League: Customs, Sunshine, OFFA VC, Two Others Record Wins On Day 4

Nigeria Customs Service, Sunshine Spikers, OFFA VC, Nigeria Immigration Service and Nigeria Police Force recorded victory in their respective matches in the men's category at the ongoing final phase of the 2021 Nigeria Volleyball Premier League in Abuja on Wednesday.
Nigeria Customs Service beat NSCDC 3-1 (20-25, 29-27, 25-15, 29-27) in the men’s match 18 to maintain their unbeaten run, Sunshine Spikers in cloud 9 as they record their third win beating Correctional Service 3-0 (25-23, 31-29, 25-19) while OFFA VC recorded their second win as they defeated UCEM VC 3-0 (30-28, 25-15, 25-22)
Kano Pillars came from a set down to beat Nigeria Immigration Service 3-1 (20-25, 25-18, 25-23, 25-21) while Nigeria Police Force got their first victory against COAS Spikers 3-1 (25-19, 18-25, 25-20, 25-20) in the men's match 18.
The head coach of Nigeria Police Force, Taiwo Oladipupo said the win will further boost the morale of the players.
He said the three matches Nigeria Police lost were all unfortunate adding that Police are back into the league.
Oladipupo said, “Finally, Nigeria Police Force got a deserved win; this will help boost the morale of the players. We camped in Ibadan for one month and a win for us is very important.
“If you look at the matches we lost, you will see that the games were very tight. Our first game against Nigeria Immigration Service ended 3-1 and if you look at the minor scores, it was narrow.
“Our next match against COAS Spikers is a must win for Nigeria Police Force”, he added.
