WA Confirms Nigeria Participation In 5 Events At World Relays

The World Athletics (WA) has confirmed that Nigeria will participate in five events at the oncoming World Relays billed to hold in Poland.
In this regards, the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) through its Director General, Pepple Young sent the team list of the Nigeria athletes that will participate in the events to the WA who in turns confirmed the receipt of the letter on Wednesday. The two-day competition starts May 1 and ends 2nd 2021 in Silesia, Poland.
This is contained in an official statement from the AFN made available to BSN Sports which reads;
"Nigeria will participate at the forthcoming World Relays billed to happen from May 1st to 2nd 2021 in Silesia, Poland.
Nigeria will participate in the following events: 4x100m Men, 4x400m Men, 4x100m Women, 4x400m Women and 4x400m Mixed.
The team list sent by AFN includes; 4x100m: Divine Oduduru, Itsekiri Usheoritshe, Enoch Adegoke, Alaba Akintola, Jeremiah Jakpa, Favour Ashe.
In the 4x400m Men: Chidi Okezie, Ifeanyi Ojeli, Sikiru Adeyemi, Samson Nathaniel, Timothy Emoghene, Rilwan Alowonle were listed.
Blessing Okagbare, Grace Nwokocha, Tobi Amusan, Joy Udo-Gabriel, Ese Brume, Tima Godbless will compete in the 4×100 women.
In the 4x400m Women: Imaobong Nse Uko, Patience Okon-George, Abasiamo Uwemedion Akpan, Glory Okon Partick, Opeyemi Oke, and Joy O. Usenbor names were submitted.
In the 4x400m Mixed, Chidi Okezie, Ifeanyi Ojeli, Timothy Emoghene, Imaobong Nse Uko, and Patience Okon-George completed the list.
