WAFA To Holds Election After State FA's Election, Sets Up Interim League Committee

Women Accredited Football Academies' (WAFA) Executive Board members have agreed to hold their election after the State FA elections later this year, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
This, according to the Chairman of the Association, Mr. John Iremeren is in accordance with usual routine whereby election is usually been held after the State FA election.
In a statement made available to www.bsnsports.com.ng signed by the Association Secretary-General, Olajide Royal, the chairman and his executive members also agreed to set up an interim league committee to run the affairs of the 2019 leagues season between March and June 2019.
The Executive Board of WAFA in today's meeting has agreed to have the association next election after the state FA's Elections is concluded."
"The Chairman of the Association, Mr. John Iremiren and his executive members have taken a bold step to set up an interim league committee for in the affairs of the 2019 league season between the month of March to June." The statement reads in part.
John Iremiren promised that the committee will run the league will comprise of credible people who have no club in the league adding that the names of the Committee members will be announced shortly.
