WAFU B Reschedule Women Champions League Qualifying Draw By Sampson Adedeji The West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Zone B has rescheduled the zonal qualifiers for the newly introduced Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Women Champions League to 25th of June, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The draw was initially scheduled for 15th of June but has to be moved due to some circumstances. Statement from WAFU Zone B reads: "Following the circular on June 2nd 2021, relating to the preparation criteria and licensing procedure of the clubs to participate in the CAF Egypt 2021 Women Champions League (Zonal qualifiers and final qualifying phase), the draw for the Group matches of the West Zone B initially scheduled for June 15th 2021 is postponed to June 25th at the headquarters of WAFU B in Abidjan." A club each from Cote d’Ivoire, Benin Republic, Ghana, Niger, Nigeria, and Burkina Faso are scheduled to take part in the qualifiers. Rivers Angels qualified to represent Nigeria after winning the Nigeria Women Football League super 6 tournament held at the Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu Ode.
