WAFU CAFCL Qualifier: We Are Ready For Rivers Angels - Hassancas Ladies Coach
By Sampson Adedeji
Head coach of the Ghana women league champion, Yusuf Basigi has confirmed the readiness of his team for the upcoming WAFU CAF champions league qualifier, BSNSports.com.ng can reports.
The regional competition was postponed on Tuesday by the organisers due to some unforseen circumstances around the teams involved.
"I have monitored our first opponent (River Angels). They are not a bad side but trust Hasaacas Ladies because we are equally good so they won’t find it easy with us the same way we won’t find it easy with them because they are a good side, " Basigi told Ghana Radio Happy FM.
"For me, every team is a good team. I learnt we have about three Ghanaians in the Niger team so it means they are doing well. Personally, I am ready for every team. I won’t change my approach because any approach I use against River Angels will be the same that I will use throughout.
"Our automatic goal is to qualify for the main competition in Egypt. At the end of the competition, it will be Hasaacas Ladies and another club that will qualify," he concluded.
The qualifiers, which have now been rescheduled will take place from July 24 to August 5, 2021.
