WAFU Cup: Super Eagles B land in Senegal, set for Togo game

Ahead of the 2019 West African Football Union, WAFU, cup competition, Nigeria's Eagles B team has landed in Thies, Senegal for the tournament.

BSN reports reports that the Nigeria side has a game to forget on Sunday as they crashed 1-4 to Sparrow Hawks of Togo in the first leg of CHAN 2020,

Bulk of the players that played against Togo form the team to the second edition of the competition which is scheduled to kick off on Saturday.

The team dominated by home based players departed the country earlier on Thursday and arrived the competition venue later in the day.

The team will have opportunity to redeem their battered image when they face Togo again in opening match of the tournament few days after losing scandalously to same team.
