  WAFU U20: Niger In Pole position To Host By Sampson Adedeji The reports coming from West Africa Football Union ( WAFU) indicated that Niger Republic is already in pole position to host the U20 competition slated for later this year, BSNSports.com.ng can reports . The original host Togo pulled out from hosting the tournament on Wednesday owing to the Corona virus issues. Teams across the region including Nigeria's Flying Eagles are already in camp in Abuja getting ready to storm the Togolese capital before their withdrawal. According to WAFU, the competition will still take place this year, despite the setback though the date might be change. Despite showing strong interest in hosting the tournament it's left to be seen if the regional football body will awarded them the hosting right. The competition will serve as the qualification for the U20 African Cup Of Nations .
