Free Scoring Falcons Send Fear Into Ghana's Black Queens By Niyi Busari African champions, Super Falcons of Nigeria will today (Thursday) face Black Queens of Ghana in the semifinal of the ongoing WAFU Women Cup holding in Ivory Coast, BSNSports.com.ng can report. On their way to the semifinal, Super Falcons have recorded a total of 22 goals in three group stage matches. The feat which sent fears into the spine of the Black of Ghana. Group B winner, Nigeria defeated Burkina Faso women national team 5-1 in the first match, walloped Niger Republic 15-0 and edged Mali 2-0 in their last group match. Ghana on the other hand were group A runners up behind the hosts, Cote d'Ivoire to pick one of the two semifinal tickets, hence facing Nigeria in quest for the final slot.
