WAFU Women Cup: Super Falcons seek first title By Sampson Adedeji Nine time African Women champions Nigeria's Super Falcons will be hoping to add WAFU Women Cup title to their trophy collections when they face host Coted'ivoire on Saturday's final. Nigeria's Super Falcons on Thursday defeated defending champions of the tournament Ghana 4-2 on penalties after the regulation time remained goalless. Coted'ivoire on its part defeated Mali 2-1 to secure a place in the final of the annual tournament. The match which is scheduled for Stade Robert Champroux Abidjan has Nigeria women senior team as the favourite having netted 22 goals in just 4 matches. Host will be relying on home support to edge the skill of the Thomas Dennerby ladies. A win for Nigeria on Saturday will boost the team morale as they intensify training ahead FIFA Women World Cup slated for France this summer.
