WCQ: We can’t afford to drop points against Liberia – Musa

Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa has said the team has prepared adequately for their upcoming World Cup qualifying match against Liberia on Saturday, November 13. Speaking on Wednesday, November 10 via the team's media channel, the winger said the lads are ready to grind the results against their neighbors. “Everyone is happy and ready for the game, we have 22 players tomorrow we are expecting the goalkeeper and Ighalo so we’ll be a full team.“ “We know the importance of the game. We just need to go for the three points because we don’t have to lose; after the game on Saturday we will be very happy,” he said. Nigeria is currently leading the Group with nine points from four games — two more than second-placed Cape Verde. The Central African Republicans are third, while Saturday’s opponents Liberia are rooted bottom of the Group.
