Opu-Nembe Will Not Be a Hindrance To Us: We Are Going To Lift the Restoration Cup - Secretary of Peretorugbene Football Club By: Francis Joseph Ahead of the 2018 Restorations Cup finals, The secretary of Peretorugbene football club, Mr Sambo Oyambo has said that he believe his side will lift the 2018 Restorations Cup. In an exclusive interview with Bsnsports.com.ng, the secretary said. "Well since from February we have been preparing for it and definitely we have that believe that our team will get to this level we are, been the final of the restorations cup". Well, we have been performing very well, right from the group stage to the quarter final to the semifinals and we have the believe and confidence that opu- Nembe will never be a hindrance to us, we will lift this cup". Mr Oyambo also said the restorations cup has been a success. "Well definitely it's a success on the ground that every team that registered participated very well, and there maybe one or two issues, to me it is a success". The secretary also advised the organizers to be strict in dealing with teams that disobeyed the rules in other to make subsequent edition much better. "Throughly some teams played players that have played in the league which is not supposed to be so a registered player in any of the clubs", "I want to advise for next time to be more better than this, the organizers should be strict and the date they gave for registration and submission should be important for them". " There should be no any exception, and any player that they figure out that have played for the league that team should be made to forfeit that match". "strictness should be there so that it will enable the grassroots to be exposed because that is the major purpose of for this competition he added". Peretorugbene Fc from Ekeremor Local Government will take on Opu-Nembe Fc from Nembe Local Government in the finals of the 2018 Governor Dickson restorations cup final on the 22nd of July at the Samson Siasia Sports Complex, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State with the winner going home with the sum of 5million naira cash plus other individual prizes to be given as well. The governor is expected to be at the finals as well as former super eagles player and coach Samson Siasia.
