We Are Fully Ready For NPFL Promotion - NAF FC Head Coach

Head coach, Nigerian Air Force FC, Yakubu Sambo has said that the players as well as the officials are fully ready to grab the opportunity of picking the promotion ticket to the Nigeria Professional Football League, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Sambo while speaking www.bsnsports.com.ng on Saturday after his team 3-1 victory over Oyah Sports FC in Abuja reiterated the team's management commitment for the promotion to the elite league. He added that the management on their side has improved the players welfare package which in turn made the team churning out table of the table performance.

"The support we are getting from the Chief of Air Staff is huge, he told us that the ticket slipped off our hands last season but this season he is ready to give ius all the necessary support and so the players and the officials are fully ready for the NPFL promotion."

After a 0-0 first 45 minute draw, NAF FC came back from the locker room to score three past Oyah Sports FC in an Abuja NNL derby.

NAF FC at the Area 3 Sports Complex, Abuja defeated Oyah Sport 3-1 with Benjamin Bulus scoring the first goal from the spot in the 47th minute while Oyah Sports level the scoreline two minutes later.

Kelvin Odenigbo brilliantly slotted in the third goal having received an excellent pass from Yahaya who smartly dribbled past four Oyah Sports defenders before unleashing the dangerous pass for Kelvin finish.

Smith Asuquo scored the last in the 85th minute stealing the ball from the defender who nodded to his keeper but the NAF FC attacker was quicker to tip the ball behind the net.

NAF FC have garnered 7 points in four matches and are topping the their group table.
