Sunshine Stars winger, Fuad Ekelojuoti has said that his side's bad form and struggle is due to lack of confidence.
The Akure-based club is struggling to find their feet after a home draw to bottom side Adamawa United.
The result stretches their run without a win to six league matches with the last victory recorded in January.
In a chat with brila.net Ekelojuoti, who is also experiencing drought in front of goal, admitted that the team is struggling to play with confidence at the moment.
“It’s a loss of form and lack of confidence, as you can see we do pick points away and then fail to do the needful at home, I think we are lacking a little bit of belief at the moment.
“It is really sad that we are in this situation right now, the coaches, management and fans aren’t not happy, but we understand.”
Sunshine Stars ended a dreadful February with just 3 points from possible, but they kick start the month of March with trip to Muhammadu Dikko stadium where they will engage Katsina United, Brila.net reports.
"We have to continue working and hope to do well and get good results in our next matches,” he concluded.
