Weightlifting Federation: Dr Abdul Emerge President Sampson Adedeji Nigeria Weightlifting federation has concluded its election in Abuja venue of the election and it was Dr. Ibrahim Abdul that emerged as president of the federation, BSNsports.com.ng an report. Dr. Ibrahim qualified to compete for the apex position of the federation after he came top at the zonal election of the North Central conducted last week. Seven States including Benue, Niger, Nasarawa, Kogi, Kwara, Plateau, and the FCT voted for him to represent the region. He has earlier served as the Caretaker Chairman of the federation after the dissolution of the board by the Sports ministry.
