Western Nigeria Football Forum honour Ogunjobi By Admin Arrangements have been concluded by the Western Nigeria Football Forum (WNFF) to hold a symposium in honour of late Chief Taiwo Joseph Ogunjobi. According to the first Vice-President of Nigeria Football Federation, and coordinator WNFF Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi, the symposium with the theme: 'celebrating the life and times of Ogunjobi' will hold on Wednesday, March 13, at the indoor sports hall of Lekan Salami Stadium Adamasingba, Ibadan. Akinwunmi further informed that former NFF President Alhaji Sani Lulu, Amaju Pinnick, Gbolagade Busari, Segun Odegbami, Ade Somefun, Gboyega Makinde, and Elder Bode Oyewole, among others will give tributes at the event expected to have commissioner for sports in Oyo and Osun as Special Guest of honour. Akinwunmi, while expressing sadness over the death of the former NFF Secretary-General said; "This is an avenue to honour him because he has done so well for football in the southwest and Nigeria as a whole and enjoined all football stakeholders to turn out en masse to pay last respect to the former Sole Administrator of Shooting Stars Sports Club," he said. However, there will be candlelight procession after the symposium.
