Why I Step Down As Ifeanyi Ubah Coach....... Ladan Bosso By Admin NPFL club, FC Ifeanyi Ubah, are now without a manager, as reports says that team coach, Ladan Bosso, has stepped down from his position at the club over unpaid salaries reports. Ladan Bosso confirmed to BSNSports that he was owed five months salary, adding that the players and other officials are owed. Bosso who joined the club in November 2017 taking over from former Ghanian international, Yaw Preko, who was sacked by the club, revealed that he walked away after his side’s win over FRSC FC in the Aiteo Cup round of 64 clash, that was played in Abuja. “We are still been owed salaries, but aside that, I’m no longer with the team. I left the club after our Aiteo Cup Round of 64 win in Abuja,” he told BSN. FC Ifeanyiubah, who are winners of the Aiteo Cup in 2016, finished in 17th position after the 2018 Nigeria Professional Football League season ended abruptly due to inability to hit the deadline set for submission by CAF, nor were able to play 14 games in 6 weeks. They were also eliminated from the Aiteo Cup by second-tier league side J. Atete in the Round of 32. Bosso however revealed that he will be willing to return should all the outstanding salaries are cleared. “Once that is sorted out we will sit again to negotiate fresh terms again.” The club will hope to settle the rift very soon, before players decide to go on strike or join their manager in walking out of the team. Nigeria League club sides have had issues for a long time concerning owing players, and now, this one with Ladan Bosso, is another low for the eastern club, as losing a coach with all the experience of Ladan Bosso.
