Incoclusive League Responsible For Kwara United Aiteo Cup Performance.....John Obu By Niyi Busari Former Kwara United Coach, John Obu attributed the near-perfect performance of the 'Harmony boys' to the Nigeria Professional Football League that ended abruptly. He argued that the finances meant for the league that ended in week 24 was diverted to execute Aiteo cup matches. John Obu, however praised the efforts of the players as well as the coach of the team, Bala Abubakar for their feat in the ongoing Aiteo cup, adding that he was surprised to see the team go as far as the quarter finals of the tournament. "I think why they (Kwara United) move further the way they did is due to the league that ended abruptly. So that make the team to channel their finances towards Aiteo cup. I am surprised that Kwara United could get to the quarter finals of Aiteo cup because Kwara United do not put out such performance in the FA cup. They did well by changing the record a little bit than the previous seasons." He concluded.
