Why Mohammed Salah Snubbed CAF awards despite been held in his country.

Liverpool and Egyptian born star, Mohammed Salah missed the CAF awards despite the event being held in his homeland, Egypt. The Liverpool star decided to train with his club side Liverpool, ahead of their match against Tottenham, Bsnsports.com.ng understands
Mohamed Salah also tend to make a mockery of the decision of CAF to name Egypt as the best football federation during the award ceremony, in Cairo on Tuesday night.
The relationship between Salah and the Egyptian FA hasn't been smooth looking at the issues that came up, which Salah Saw as unprofessional in the Egyptian camp during the 2018 FIFA world cup in Russia.
Salah was pictured with the Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov in the Egypt camp during the tournament, but he later claimed he was forced to take the picture and wasn't happy to be associated with someone possessing Kadyrov's human rights record.
The Liverpool forward has also known to have issues with how some of the people in the Egyptian football federation view sponsorship, and there has been clashes on several occasions.
Salah on his Instagram Story on Tuesday night, uploaded a picture of his daughter Makka laughing alongside with the words "and the award for best federation goes to…"
Salah was criticised for his decision not to attend the ceremony, even as some as said he didn't attend because he knew he was going to lose the award to mane.
But his issues with his country's FA has been identified most likely to be the reason for his behavior and his post tend to support those claims.
