President, Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Amaju Pinnick, has said that the federation has not received the palliative funds promised by FIFA and CAF, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Amaju Pinnick explained that the money will be distributed and monitored by Price Water Company (PwC) when it arrives, this, according to him, is to make sure that the funds get to the end users.

The former First Vice President of CAF while speaking with Shina Okeleji on BBC said: "We have not received all the money, we have not received from CAF and FIFA. Once we receive it, we are talking to PwC so that it will not just be distribution but also monitor how it is done and be part of what we are doing and ensuring that it gets to the end users.

Pinnick reiterated that the Ministry of Sports will be notified once the money is released by CAF and FIFA.

"Once we get the money, we will notify the ministry. The only money we have right now is what we have been able to warehouse from Nike and Coca-Cola funds. You can see that it is Two million Dollars ($2m). One million and five hundred thousand US Dollars from FIFA, Three hundred thousand dollars from CAF and Two hundred thousand dollars from the federation. We are going to religiously adhere to that principle."He concluded.
