Why Pinnick, Sanusi Cannot Travel to Tunisia Revealed

Why
A reliable source close to the Nigeria Football Federation, (NFF) has revealed to www.bsnsports.com.ng the reasons why CAF 1st President, Amaju Pinnick and NFF secretary general, Dr. Muhammed Sanusi did not travel with Super Eagles for their AFCON 2019 qualifying match against Libya in Sfax, Tunisia. Amaju Pinnick who watched the 4-0 demolition of the Mediterranean Knight by the Super Eagles at the Nest of champions stadium, Uyo, could not travel with the team according to the impeccable source because he was prevented by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) not to travel following the recent investigation the body is carrying out on the NFF staff. Recall that the Federal High court in Abuja adjourned a case of corruption involving the NFF till Friday 19th October, 2018. Amaju Pinnick and Dr. Sanusi Mohammed stayed back to mobilize NFF lawyer, Festus Keyamo (SAN) who doubles as the EFCC lawyer to prevent EFCC Acting chairman, Ibrahim Magu from further invitation of NFF staff and bigwigs, the source added. The source also revealed that the Federation is cash crunch, hence cannot pay the Super Eagles players match bonuses of the double-fixture against Libya. "Pinnick and Sanusi Mohammed could not travel to Tunisia today (Tuesday) because the EFCC prevent them from travelling out of this country now that the body is investigating the staff and they may be invited soon." "Due to this fact, they want to strategize and mobilise Festus Keyamo to prevent Ibrahim Magu from further investigation of the NFF. "Also, the NFF President could not travel with Super Eagles because they don't have the money to settle the players bonuses of the two legged match."
