Rangers International midfielder, Kehinde Adedipe said, himself and team mates are sad because the team will not play in the CAF Inter-club competition next season following cancelation of the 2019/20 NPFL, Aiteo Cup seasons, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The former Sunshine player while reacting to questions on 9ja Sports Gladiator added that the players are determined to win either the Aiteo Cup or the League to represent Nigeria in the continent.

"For NFF to come out that they have cancelled the league and used the PPG format that means Enugu Rangers will not make it to the continent next season. As a player of the club, I felt bad because our plan and target for the season are not meant. Before the season get started, our target is to work extra hard and get the continental ticket by winning the Aiteo Cup or the league for Enugu Rangers fans."

The Nigeria Football Federation on Friday announced cancelation of all leagues including Aiteo Cup for the 2019/20 season adding that the first, second and third teams on the league table will be nominated for the CAF Inter-club competitions. Kano Pillars, the 2019 Aiteo Cup champions will represent Nigeria in the CAF Confederation Cup.
