Why Rohr May Not Be Super Eagles Coach Again

President, Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Amaju Pinnick has revealed that a lot of coaches have indicated interest in taking over from the Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
BSN Sports gathered that, unless something else happens, the much talked contract extension of the Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr may not see the light of the day following conditions attached to it by the employer, the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.
The President of the federation, Pinnick Amaju on Monday morning speaks on condition to renew the Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr, contract.
Pinnick in an interview with Arise TV on Monday, said the federation has been in touch with the Franco-German tactician about some changes in the term of his contract. According to him, he must accept these condition before he can continue as Super Eagles of Nigeria coach.
He said that Rohr must accept to live in Nigeria, this according to him, will enable him, be at different Nigeria league match venues to monitor Nigerian home based players.
Also, as against the former contract, Rohr's salary will be paid in Nigeria currency unlike when he was paid in foreign currency in his last contract.
"We have told him. He MUST live in Nigeria. His salary will be in Naira. He must go around the leagues and see how he can nurture the players. If he is able to accept it, we have a deal. There are a lot of coaches that want to coach Nigeria."
The German's tactician contract runs out in July 2020 after the extension in 2018 shortly after the FIFA 2018 World Cup in Russia.
