Players like William Troost Ekong, Tyronne Ebuehi, Leon Balogun, Ola Aina, Joe Aribo, Josh Maja, Cyril Dessers, Alex Iwobi, Maduka Okoye, Tobia Lawal and recently Kevin Akpoguma who were born and bred abroad are eligible to play for Nigeria. "When we want to make our list, we look at quality not where they were born. I am also happy to hear Nigerians born abroad make the decision to play for us," he stated.
