The Franco-German tactician made this known after assessing the fitness level of some defenders. Jamilu Collins is out injured while Ola Aina has not been in action for his new club, Fulham.
Zaidu, who earned his first national team call-up may be seen making his full debut for Nigeria in Friday evening's friendly against Algeria.

"We have the other new defender, Sanusi, the left-back, he will start the game," Rohr said at Thursday's press conference. "He is a very strong and quick defender, you know
they have Mahrez on the right side, he has to be very, very strong but we are satisfied what he's doing in the training sessions.
"He's in Porto now, he's one of our two boys who can play in the Champions League, him with Porto and Frank Onyeka with Midtjylland."
The match comes up by 7:30pm today.
Algeria defeated Nigeria 2-1 in the semifinal of the 2019 African Cup of Nations and went on to win the title beating Senegal in the final.
