Wilfred Ndidi Won’t Be Out Injured For Too Much Longer – Rodgers

Wilfred
Leicester City of England midfielder, Wilfred Onyinyen Ndidi has received comforting words in his desire to make quick recovery from another blow with injury that hit him last week, as The Foxes’ coach, Brendan Rodgers has hinted that the Super Eagles’ star will not be out for much longer. BSNSports.com.ng reports that Rodgers went on to affirm that Ndidi is nearing a return to fitness after sustaining a hamstring injury after only 42 minutes of Leicester’s 1-1 draw with Everton and the former Racing Genk of Belgium ace had to make way for Nampalys Mendy. Leicester have lost six matches in the English Premier League this season, during which Ndidi was not in the squad for five of those games and he was not available for selection against Leeds United the previous weekend, while last Saturday’s clash with Fulham, but Rodgers says the story will soon change. Rodgers disclosed: “Wilf won’t be too much longer after that. It’s just the nature of this season. If you look at how compact the games are and the intensity of them, it’s very, very difficult for players.”
