Wolves NPFL return is step one next is continent pursuit- Tonobok Okowa

Chairman of Delta State Sports Commission, Tonobok Okowa has congratulated Warri Wolves FC effort for returning back to the Nigeria Professional Football League.

Tonobok said Delta state deserve having two NPFL side and the government is capable of sustaining it.

"Great effort to the club CEO, Moses Etu, the technical crew, the players, fans and the entire Delta state sports commission for making this happen.

While reacting to question if Warri wolves FC will be sold, he said "We don't want any form of distraction and we don't have any plans to sll the slot or change anybody in the team rather we are open to positive advise to succeed".

" Many people who never have confidence in us thought before now this can't happen because they never knew the personal effort one has put up to see this promotion a reality.

Warri wolve defeated Dynamite Force of Iyamu 5-3 on penalties after 90 minutes goalless draw.

Warri Wolve relegated from the number one league in Nigeria in 2016 but return less than three years.

This will be the first time in the history of Delta state to have two NPFL Clubs.
