Nigeria's D'Tigress will lock horns with DR Congo in the quarter final of the ongoing women FIBA Afro Basketball, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

DR Congo set up a quarterfinal clash with Nigeria after defeating Cape Verde on Wednesday afternoon 78 -46 .

The Nigeria flagbearer has been flying in the competition after they crushed Tunisia and Cameroon in the last two group matches.

The Nigeria side is hoping to successfully defend the trophy they won in Bamako Mali and beating Congo remain their main objective.

The game is scheduled for 12:30 pm Nigeria time on Thursday in Dakar, Senegal.
