Women CAF Champions League: Mamelodi Sundowns Storm Egypt For Rivers Angels

Ahead of the first edition of the Women Champions League in Africa, South African side, Mamelodi Sundown ladies have landed in Cairo, Egypt, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
The team departed Johannesburg late on Sunday night for Pharaoh's land after a victory in the league on Saturday.
Head Coach of the team, Jerry Tshabalala has been talking tough as the inaugural edition of the competition draws closer.
They arrived in Cairo, Egypt venue of the competition on Monday night and they are already speaking ahead of the tournament.
Speaking ahead of the maiden Champions League encounters, Charles Motjieng said, “It was expected that the travelling will be long! We are here now and let’s get to what we are here to do!”
Also speaking, Dipuo Maboe stated, “We just need to soldier on. We are here to give our best and win. Nothing more, nothing less”
Khunjulwa Mali added, “I want to make the Team proud. Our Team’s success is based on all our brilliance & contributions to make the dream a reality”
Coach Agnes Nkosi contributed, “All I am mostly anticipating to see. is to see the Team giving their best throughout the Tournament & bringing the trophy home! “
Sundown who is placed in B will face Nigeria's Rivers Angels in the second group game.
