Women CAFCL: Rivers Angels Opponent Undergo Covid 19 Test, Set For Departure

In readiness for the maiden edition of the Women CAF champions league, group opponents of Nigeria's Rivers Angels, Vihiga Queen FC Monday underwent coronavirus test, BSNsports.com.ng can report.

The Kenya side have been in closed camp for more than a week and last weekend intensified preparation for the competition.

As part of the requirements in taking part in the competition, the team underwent a compulsory coronavirus test among another medical checkups to ascertain the fitness level of the team.

As part of their preparations Vihiga Queens played out a 5-5 draw against Flames Sportive over the weekend.

Vihiga which is placed in group B alongside Rivers Angels, Mamelodi Sundown and ASFAR FC has concluded an arrangement for its departure for Cairo, Egypt venue of the competition.
