Women Champions League Draw: CAF Extends Invitation To Four-time African Best Player, Perpetua

As the draw date for the inaugural edition of the women champions league gathers momentum, the Africa soccer governing body, CAF, has listed former Super Falcons attacker Perpetua Nwkwocha among the dignitaries invited for the occasion, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
Nigeria women league champions, Rivers Angels will be among the eight qualified clubs that will be drawn into two groups of four teams for the competition.
Nkwocha, in her playing days, won five Africa Women's Cup of Nations (2002, 2004, 2006, 2010, and 2014) with the Super Falcons and ended up top scorer at three editions in 2004, 2006, and 2010 of the competition.
She clinched African Women’s Player of the Year (2004, 2005, 2010, 2011).
Other dignitaries expected to attend the draw include players Merihan Yehia and Alia Zenouki from Egyptian club Wadi Degla FC.
The draw will be conducted by the CAF Director of competition, Samson Adamu.
