  Women WAFU Qualifiers:  CAF Awaits Cote d'Ivoire, Mali's Representatives By Sampson Adedeji Ahead of the maiden edition of the West Africa Football Union B (WAFU ) women qualifier, six clubs out of eight have submitted their names to CAF, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Nigeria's representative Rivers Angels and Delta Queens sealed their qualifications last weekend after they winners and runners-up respectively in the just concluded Super Six at the Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu Ode. Africa soccer governing body on Tuesday confirmed the receipt of six teams that have submitted their names for participation in the regional qualifier. And as at Wednesday, CAF still awaits submission of other two slots for the event as six clubs have sealed their spots in the forthcoming tournament. From the list, the name of the teams from the host, Cote d'Ivoire and Mali are still missing. The teams includes: Rivers Angels (Nigeria), Delta Queens (Nigeria), USFA (Burkina Faso ), Friend of the World (Togo), Hassacas Ladies ( Ghana) and AS Police (Niger Republic). The qualifier is slated for Coted'Ivoire with winner taking part in the inaugural edition of the women CAF champions league in Morocco.
