D'Tigress started the game like a house on fire as they recorded a comprehensive 24-8 win at the end of the first quarter. By halftime, the defending champion was dominating with 43-21 points and the 3rd was not different as Nigeria won it again with 59- 35 points. The final quarter was a stroll in the park for the back-to-back champion as they wrapped up the tie 72-56. D'Tigress now await the winner between Senegal and Mozambique in the semi-final slated for Friday
