Women's CAF Champions League: ASFAR FC Shock Rivers Angels Sampson Adedeji ASFAR FC of Morocco on Saturday shocked Nigeria representative Rivers Angels after handed a 3-0 defeat in group B game of the Women's CAF Champions League, BSN sports.com.ng can report. The Nigeria champions started the game on the front foot but the Moroccans proved to be the better side with their commanding display. Striker Sanna Mssoudy opened the scoring in the 30th minute of the game and ensured that ASFAR returned to the dressing room with a lead. The Moroccan champions continued their impressive display in the second half and their effort paid off in the 73rd minute as Mssoudy netted the second goal after mesmerising two Rivers Angels defenders. She completed her hattrick 10 minutes later after the Rivers Angels defenders failed to clear their lines The result means that Rivers Angels will be at the bottom of the table with ASFAR FC on top, Mamelodi Sundown in second position while Vihiga Queens of Kenya occupied the third position.
